Will windows update HP 7 discs I was sent to work on a different model HP notebook?

The laptop I upgrade discs Windows 7 was stolen, but I still received the discs yesterday. The discs are for TX2-1027ca that came with Vista Home Premium, but now I have a DV5-1007ca with Vista Home Premium. The discs are still sealed in the package, and the license has not been used, so that if I try to use these discs in the dv5, will it work?

The HP Upgrade disks are model specific. This only means that the correct drivers for all hardware is available on this disc. You can attempting to load – it can work, but you may need to load the correct drivers as well.
