Sopwith Camel was monitored, and Bristol F2B; the Neuport French 17 and 28, and the German Fokker D-VII and D-VIII, and later variants of the German Albatros. He was taken by the majority of the French and American aces like Eddie Rickenbaker latter, the highest scoring U.S. ace of World War I, with about 28 kills.
